This is our primary outing for 2026, hosted by Bryn Mawr Country Club in Lincolnwood, Illinois on the north side of Chicago. Registration is open to Society Members plus one guest each. We are grateful to the team at Bryn Mawr for offering this experience to our members!
The golf course at Bryn Mawr Country Club was designed by Langford & Moreau in 1921. In 2013, the club completed a renovation project led by Ron Forse and Jim Nagle which reintroduced L&M architectural characteristics that had been lost through the years.
18-hole round of golf (12pm noon Central time shotgun start). A cart is included in the cost of the event but walking is permitted (carry or trolley is fine).
Prizes such as closest-to-the-pin, longest putt, etc.
A special hand-crafted player gift created especially for this event by Joe Woldt
Due to the nature of a Monday event, food and beverage service will not be available at the club.
Following the round, participants are invited to gather at a local restaurant for food and socializing. Cost of food and beverages are not included with registration fee and will be settled at the restaurant via cash or Venmo.
We are excited to announce that Mr. Ron Whitten, former Architecture Editor of Golf Digest, author, and golf course architect, will be our special guest speaker at the post-round gathering. Mr. Whitten will offer insight into golf course architecture with time for Q&A from attendees.
Full payment at time of registration will reserve your spot. Once all spots are filled, a wait list will be created via email.
Bring a Guest!
We are excited to offer the option to bring one guest per member to this event. The guest fee is $250, and we’ll also send your guest an offer to become a Society member for an additional $50 for the first year. If you would like to bring a guest, please complete the guest information on your registration form at checkout, and we’ll provide details to your guest via email for registration. Or if you decide later, simply email us with your guest’s name and email address.
