L&M Society Meet-U.P. at Marquette Golf Club - September 2026
Attend the L&M Society’s Fall Meet-U.P. at Marquette Golf Club on September 11 and 12, 2026!
This will be a small gathering (four foursomes) hosted by Craig Moore, Director of Agronomy at Marquette Golf Club in Marquette, Michigan. Registration is limited to Society Members. This will be a special opportunity to experience three rounds of some of the best golf in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula for an outstanding price - a normal public round at Greywalls costs over $200 alone! We are grateful to Craig and the team at Marquette Golf Club for offering this experience to our Society members!
The Heritage Course features nine original holes designed and built by Langford & Moreau, opening in 1927, with a second nine added by David Gill in 1969.
The Greywalls Course is a Mike DeVries design which opened in 2005 and features a spectacular setting amid granite outcroppings.
The event cost is $250 and includes:
Friday morning 18-hole round on the Heritage Course beginning around 9:00am EDT
Friday afternoon 18-hole round on the Greywalls Course (cart included) beginning around 3:00pm EDT
Saturday morning 18-hole round on the Heritage Course beginning around 10:00am EDT
Prizes for each round such as closest-to-the-pin, longest putt, etc.
A special hand-crafted player gift created especially for this event by Joe Woldt
Walking is permitted for all rounds. Carts are available for the Heritage Course rounds for an additional fee to be paid by the player at the time of service.
Food and beverages will be paid for individually by each attendee (not included with registration fee). Opportunities for group meals will include:
Friday lunch at the Marquette clubhouse between rounds
Friday evening dinner at a local brewery
Local lodging options include: Hampton Inn Waterfront, Fairfield Inn, Staybridge Suites, Best Western Plus, Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Suites, and more.
Full payment is required at time of registration. If all spots become filled, a wait list will be created via email. Additional space may be possible.
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at Marquette!
